Rutgers is not a very good team and certainly played like it against our Orange on Saturday. But again with that said I think that we could have beaten anyone who stepped into the dome this past Saturday that is how good we played.

The highlight of the weekend for me was getting to meet some of you on this list and to get your input on the emails. I can really say I enjoyed talking with those on this list I met and I enjoyed meeting those that are now added to this list. We were all part of something special and I think we all realize this or will realize it sooner or later. And if it not had been for guys like us the program would not have such a fine tradition. I did discover this weekend why we all played at Syracuse, we are all very similar people and I think that it takes persons like us to play this game and to be successful at it. I know that I personally am glad to have been a part of the tradition and I was proud of it when I was their playing.

I think that we have a good thing going with the Alumni weekend. And I encourage you to call if you are not on the mailing list for these types of events. We have an annual golf tournament at Drumlins that is a blast and I hope that this fall you can attend that as well. I will certainly do my best to keep this email going for all of us to form a network that will make us all proud SU Lax Alumni. We are the best program in the history of Lacrosse in my opinion and we have the best alumni as well. We will stick together like we did when we played at our University.

Again, great to have seen some of you.

Never forget Head-Heart-Hustle,

Ric Class of 1995
